The purpose of the Florida Railroad Preservation Award is to honor dedicated service to the preservation of Florida railroad history marked by outstanding performance, demonstrated committed service, devotion, enthusiasm, and faithfulness to the subject of Florida railroading.
The award is presented annually to an individual or organization that meets the above criteria and who has demonstrated the commitment through publishing, volunteer time or through one of the visual arts.
Anyone may nominate a candidate for the award. Complete information is available in these two documents.
